Training Courses

The Irish Youth Work Centre has run more than 80 successful seminars, training events and conferences to date. The events have tended to focus on youth & community based issues such as Working with Minority Groups, Sexuality & Health Related Issues, Dealing with Challenging Behaviour, Models of Working with Young People etc. There is also a focus on practical workshops providing training tools for youth and community workers, on themes such as supervision, youth work planning and evaluation, facilitation skills and recording and reporting good practice.
